Global climate change, rising energy expenses, and the gradual depletion of natural resources are forcing the construction sector to turn toward environmentally conscious applications and develop long-term sustainable solutions. Today, buildings are no longer evaluated solely by aesthetic and economic criteria, but also by their environmental performance, including carbon emissions, energy consumption, and water efficiency.
Accordingly, low-carbon structural design, energy-efficient systems, and sustainable resource management lie at the very core of the modern architecture and construction sector. In particular, the European Green Deal, net-zero carbon targets, and ever-tightening environmental regulations elevate the demand for professionals specialized in this field to a critical level. AEC Academy aims to contribute to participants' professional development and strengthen their sector-specific competencies through its offered training programs.
Sustainable Architecture and Green Building Training is a comprehensive specialization program that teaches how to apply sustainability principles to the design, execution, and operation processes of buildings in order to reduce environmental impacts in the construction sector.
This training enables participants to acquire the skills to analyze, measure the performance of, and comprehensively evaluate sustainable building projects in line with technical criteria. At the same time, it develops the knowledge and competencies needed to adapt to the sustainability-focused transformation in the construction sector. Designed with a professional perspective to produce innovative projects that comply with national and international standards, you will possess the following critical competencies at the end of the program:
Sustainable Design and Approaches: You will learn the principles of low-carbon and energy-efficient building design in depth and shape your projects with this vision.
Carbon Management: You will comprehend the logic of calculating carbon footprints over the life cycle of buildings and be able to develop strategic and effective carbon reduction scenarios aimed at lowering emissions.
Energy Efficiency and National Systems: By putting energy efficiency principles into practice, you will master Energy Identity Certificate (EKB) processes and completely solve the operational logic of the national BEP-TR system.
Sustainable Water Management: You will integrate methods for increasing water efficiency in structures and sustainable water management practices into your projects.
International Certification Power: You will gain the ability to interpret the operations of globally recognized green building certification and assessment systems—such as LEED, BREEAM, and EDGE—through the eyes of an expert.
When determining the prices for Sustainable Architecture and Green Building Training, factors such as the duration, scope, and content of the training are considered, alongside the expertise level of the instructors, whether the training is delivered online or face-to-face, hands-on workshop sessions, field trips, utilized software, training materials, and project-based assignments. The nature, international validity, or accreditation of the certificate presented to participants can also influence the pricing. Furthermore, whether the training is tailored for students, professionals, or corporations, the number of participants, and modifications made to the content may cause the price to vary. Training providers evaluate organizational costs, market conditions, the competitive landscape, and their targeted profit margins during the pricing process, aiming to offer quality service while establishing a competitive pricing policy.
